With the release of their debut album in 1971, April Wine kicked off a remarkable run of hit records both in Canada and around the world. For 40 years, the band has given music fans great songs to rock to and live shows to remember. April wine is THE iconic Canadian band. Celebrating their 40th anniversary as a band, the Arnprior Agricultural Society is pleased to announce that they will be this year’s Headline Entertainment.

“Catalyst” is a dynamic new “Party Band” forged from members of various well known and successful bands in the Ottawa area. “Catalyst” is the right mix of Classic Rock & Country hits for a night you’ll never forget. They are a five-piece band with great vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards that offer a fresh approach to old and new sounds. You can witness the passion for their craft during their performances which is always engaging, always inviting, and always fun.
Gamut: Friday August 6th @ 8:00 pm
A diverse four piece Rock & Roll band, playing a great mix of covers that have been carefully selected to keep the crowd engaged all night! They play a wide range of music from the 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s…2000′s, + COUNTRY & FUNK…The whole Gamut of Rock ‘n Roll!
Edge Motorsports – Thrill Show: Thursday August 5th @ 7:00 pm
The spills, chills, and thrills of their hell drivers will amaze young and old alike! Come experience the sights and sounds of the Tournament of Thrills! Keeping you on the EDGE is what they do best!
Bowmanville Zoo: Exotic Animals Shows
Amazing Animals – Bowmanville Zoo is one of the largest suppliers of trained animals for the feature film and television industry. As an accredited member of CAZA (The Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums), the Bowmanville Zoo brings the highest standards of animal welfare and conservation to its animal programming.
Bowmanville Zoo will be providing live animal educational performances consisting of a variety of animals. Plus Camel rides will run all three days! Come meet and greet with the keepers and learn about some of their exotic animals!

The Midway: All Day Fun!
Conklin Shows was created by a flamboyant American carnie, Patty Conklin, more than 80 years ago. It grew from a small rag-bag show based in Vancouver, BC, to become North America’s largest carnival. Joining us this year with an exciting line up of rides!

Gary is a local musician playing past and present blue grass and country favorites.
Touch Of Class – Simon Clarke: Thursday August 5th @ 8:30 pm
Simon Clarke – ex Freddy and the Dreamers, plays “music from the past, played for today.”
Children’s Games: Friday and Saturday @ 12:00 – 4:00 pm
There will be the return of children’s favorite games, Minnow Races, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, and the addition of some new fun filled games! New this year, Lunch Box Deal or No Deal, with a grand prize of a bicycle, and The Amazing Race. Bring the kids and enjoy the fun and prizes.
Lawn Tractor Pull: Sunday August 8th @ 1:00 pm
With history dating back to 1929, and even before, when farmers would challenge their neighbors with Horse Pulls, you can’t miss all the ‘horsepower’, dust and dirt kicked up by these crazy pulling machines to see who the winner will be!
